History 1
Class
September 7,
2007 - August 8, 2008
This course will cover music history from
1600 to the present, along with musical examples, terminology,
and major figures. This class will run from September-August with
the expectation of the student registering and completing the
History I exam on August 8, 2008.
Classes are 1 hour in
duration and tentatively scheduled for Fridays at 5:00pm.
Contrary to private lesson policy, I do ask that parents not
attend theory classes (unless you wish to take the course
yourself). Since this is a class, I regret that no make-up
lessons are available to students who miss classes due to
illness or vacations. Tuition and textbook information is
listed below:
Tuition per
student
$175 due September 7*
$175 due November 30*
$175 due February 29*
*rates are dependent on minimum
enrollment of 3 students.
